The names of England's football World Cup squad could double in popularity if they win the tournament, according to a new study.
Research by family history website Ancestry.co.uk showed a surge in boys being named after the successful 1966 team.
There were an extra 8,500 Roberts born in 1966 - many named after Sir Bobby Charlton - and many more Alans and Rogers.
Ancestry.co.uk marketing manager Russell James said: "England's Lions really can make a name for themselves this summer."
