Police call backfires on US thief
A man was arrested in the US on suspicion of stealing a wallet - after calling police to report his own wallet was missing.
Police in Bois, Idaho, realised Daniel Damico, 25, matched the description of a man who had taken a wallet from the desk of a prospective employer, and arrested him on suspicion of burglary and grand theft.
Officers believe Damico disposed of the stolen wallet but used a credit card to buy tobacco at two shops.
It was when he was leaving the second shop that he thought he may have dropped his own wallet, and called police.
Officers have recovered the credit card and stolen wallet. Damico's wallet has not been found.
