Creators of a spoof X Factor musical written by Harry Hill are offering their own contest to wannabes - allowing them to feature in the show each night.

The show, called I Can't Sing! and starring Nigel Harman as a Simon Cowell-style show boss, is due to open next year.

And now it is looking for 250 people whose images will appear on stage at the London Palladium each night as a queue of hopefuls ready to head into an audition.

Photographer Seamus Ryan will take pictures of 500 people, from which half will be chosen by the West End show's designer Es Devlin and director Sean Foley to have their photos in the West End production at each performance.

The production has been backed by Cowell's production company Syco Entertainment.

The photo shoot takes place on Saturday and people can sign up for a chance to take part at www.icantsingthemusical.co.uk.
