Parents beat up lollipop man, 73
The parents of a seven-year-old boy attacked a 73-year-old school crossing attendant who tried to intervene after they encouraged the boy to attack a fellow pupil.
Authorities in Lansing, Michigan, are seeking charges against the 29-year-old woman and 26-year-old man .
Police Lt Noel Garcia said the boys had been involved in a fight at their primary school on Wednesday. The next day the seven-year-old's parents drove to the school, let their son out of the vehicle and yelled at him to beat the other child and he punched the other boy and knocked him down.
Lt Garcia said when the crossing attendant tried to intervene, the father punched him in the face and the mother punched him in the back of the head.
The attendant suffered a chipped front tooth.
