Labour MP withdraws 'prats' remark

A Labour MP was censured in the Commons for calling Liberal Democrats "prats".
Leyton and Wanstead member John Cryer was forced to withdraw the remark by Deputy Speaker Dawn Primarolo. Agreeing to do so, he said: "I'll find another way of making it another time."
Mr Cryer had already got away with describing the debate ahead of the summer recess, in which MPs can raise any issue they like, as a "sort of whingeing gits day, so that we can get a few things off our chests".
