Kate Bush plans album of snow songs
Reclusive singer Kate Bush is to release her second album in six months - with a collection of songs about snow.
The star, who usually keeps fans waiting for years with huge gaps between her releases, is to release 50 Words For Snow in November.
It will be her first set of completely new songs since 2005 when she released Aerial. Her most recent release, Director's Cut, came out in May but featured revamped versions of songs she had first recorded 20 years earlier.
Although the new album includes just seven songs - with titles such as Snowflake and Snowed In At Wheeler Street - it stretches to 65 minutes in length.
She announced the album, recorded at the same times as Director's Cut, to her fans through her website.
The cover features an image of a snowman kissing a woman, who has been moulded from snow.
