Job interviewees must sell themselves in 30 seconds and smile, says charity
Being able to "sell" yourself in 30 seconds, and smiling, at a job interview will increase the chances of landing work, according to a new report.
Resurgo Trust, a charity which helps young people into work, suggested careful planning on what to say, how to dress, and spending time on a CV, were also important.
Chief executive Tom Jackson, said the prospect of finding a good career seemed out of reach for many unemployed people, which undermined their confidence.
A simple smile can be the difference between getting a job or being turned down, said the report.
