Human burials at pet cemeteries

Pet owners in New York state can now have their ashes buried with their favourite animals again.
The state's Division of Cemeteries has issued regulations restoring a practice that it banned earlier this year.
However, pet cemeteries are not allowed to advertise that they accept human ashes or charge a fee for doing so.
A lawyer who battled against the ban said the decision is a good Christmas gift, as her uncle's burial had been delayed for months because of the veto on human ashes sharing the same plot as animal remains.
