High-wire act for Lib Dem candidate

The election might still be a couple of weeks away but one parliamentary candidate has already put herself in the highest position with her circus skills.
Liberal Democrat candidate Kelly-Marie Blundell took to the high-wire to practise "being in the balance of power" with the Moscow State Circus.
Ms Blundell said she jumped at the opportunity to have a go at walking the tight-rope eight feet above the ground at Stoke Park in Guildford, Surrey.
"It was good to squeeze in some balancing practice between hustings. I should have had a red rosette on one side and a blue on the other," she said.
She is competing for the Guildford seat with Anne Milton for the Conservatives, John Pletts for the Greens, Richard Wilson for Labour and Harry Aldridge for Ukip.
