A flock of sheep have hopped, skipped and jumped their way along a town's high street as part of the annual Moffat Sheep Races.
Thousands of people packed the town's High Street to watch the sheep, decked out with knitted jockeys on their backs, race and have a flutter on the outcome.
They were kept in a pen at the top of the High Street, inspected by official race starter Donald Gillespie, before racing down the length of the street to another pen at the bottom.
