Driverless cars with a difference: Fiat gives a lift to roving Volkswagen
Motorists got a shock when they arrived home to find their car appeared to have gone on a journey without them.
The Volkswagen looked to have rolled backwards down a hill and over a wall before coming to rest on the top of a Fiat 500 parked below.
Passers-by were attracted to the unusual scene on Southpark Avenue in Glasgow's West End on Sunday.
Two police officers were stationed at the scene and a recovery vehicle arrived shortly after 6pm.
A police spokesman said: "Neither vehicle was occupied at the time and there were no injuries."
