Twelve couples left themselves with no excuse to forget their wedding anniversaries - by getting married on December 12, 2012.
Among the nuptials which took place in Brighton, East Sussex, was a civil ceremony which declared two men civil partners at precisely 12.12pm.
The civil partnership ceremony was conducted by the aptly-named Trevor Love at the Royal Pavilion.
Mr Love said: "Every day is a special day in this job, but today has been extra special."
Elsewhere in the seaside city, James and Yasmin Jenner married at Brighton Town Hall. Afterwards, Mr Jenner said that they chose a date with numerical significance because they "wanted a date to remember".
His new wife said: "I've been waiting nine years for this day, and the 12/12/12 date is special because there's not going to be a similar one for almost a century."
