Blondes march for a better world
Hundreds of appreciative residents turned out in the Bulgarian capital Sofia to watch a parade of dozens of blondes - natural and otherwise - marching to make the world a better place.
Dozens of women dressed in all shades of pink marched through the centre of the city, accompanied by cheerleaders and a brass orchestra.
Organisers said the procession, under the motto "Let's smile more often and be better people" was the key event of a three-day convention of blondes.
Olga Uskova, head of the International Association of Blondes, said the aim is to turn the convention into an annual event.
This year's gathering was attended by delegates from ten countries, mostly from Eastern Europe, as well as Belgium, Greece and Turkey.
