Guests will dine under a vast rollercoaster track, and can watch as their orders tackle two loop-the-loops before arriving at their table.

Alton Towers is "strongly" advising diners to book in advance to avoid disappointment, and the innovative eatery will be open to non-theme park visitors when the main park is closed.

The Rollercoaster Restaurant, which is located in the park's Forbidden Valley near to the new Galactica ride, opens on May 13.
