Lazy Britons are wasting up to 91 hours a year just by hitting the snooze button on their alarm clocks, according to research.

With the clocks going back there is a good excuse to lie in this weekend, but almost a third (28%) of people admit snoozing for an extra 15 minutes every morning.

If they hit the snooze button every day, it would add up to 91 hours a year - or 232 days in an adult lifetime.

Other big time wasters include gossiping, with 21% of people spending an hour a day chatting to friends and colleagues, according to the survey.

And 10% of people admit spending an hour just daydreaming.

The survey of 1,250 people was carried out by www.legmaster.com.
