28% return clothes after night out
One in four people has taken clothes back to the shop after wearing them on a night out, according to a new poll.
Research for shopping website VoucherCodes.co.uk found that more than a quarter (28%) of 3,000 people questioned admitted returning items of clothing for a refund after wearing them.
More than one in 20 (7%) confessed to doing it on a regular basis.
Men were more likely to take clothes back for a refund with almost a third (32%) admitting to the scam, compared with a quarter (25%) of women.
Some 3,000 people were surveyed in February by online research company OnePoll.
