Manuel Delisle has pleaded not guilty to armed assault.

A video of the alleged road rage incident has been viewed over one million times online.

Karine Cyr recorded the incident on Sunday while she was with her husband Alexandre Hermenier and their two children.

Delisle was arrested on Monday after the viral video was released.

“In the heat of the moment, I kept filming... I think the man noticed that, first of all, I caught it all on video, and he could see on my face that I was terrorized and he saw me call the police,' Ms Cyr told CBC Montreal.

“It was a terrifying situation,” Hermenier said.

Delisle is scheduled to return to court on July 7.

He was released and ordered to stay away from the couple’s home and workplace and told not to communicate with them.
