INSPIRATIONAL schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai has said she doesn’t want any violence to be perpetuated against her Taliban attackers.
The 16-year-old was shot in the head and neck a year ago as she made her way home from school by members of the Taliban, who objected to her outspoken support of women’s education.
However during an appearance with Jon Stewart on the Daily Show in the US, the teenager revealed that she wouldn’t confront the Taliban with violence.
“If you hit a Talib, then there would be no difference between you and the Talib,” she said.
“You must not treat others with cruelty. You must fight others through peace and through dialogue and through education.”
The youngster also revealed what she would say if she came face-to-face with a Taliban member.
“I would tell him how important education is and that I would even want education for your children as well. That’s what I want to tell you. Now do what you want.”
