Shocking images show three Mexicans crammed into tiny box as they try to get into U.S

THE U.S border patrol has released shocking images which show three Mexicans crammed into a tiny box as they attempted to cross the border into California.

The agents discovered the would-be immigrants after a sniffer dog alerted them a border crossing.

When the agents opened the box they found three males aged 17,19 and 21 crammed inside.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle in which they were found, both US citizens, were arrested and charged with people smuggling.

It is the latest high profile case in the U.S as pressure mounts on president Obama to introduce immigration reforms.

Last week the government lobbied the US government to introduce reforms to legalise the thousands of undocumented Irish in the country.
