'Saved By The Bell' star 'pulled knife' during bar brawl, court hears
Actor Dustin Diamond pulled a knife during a bar brawl after a woman punched his girlfriend in the face, a court heard.
The 38-year-old, who starred in the 1990s show Saved By The Bell, is accused of stabbing a man during a fight in a bar in Port Washington, Wisconsin, on Christmas Day.
Giving evidence on the second day of Diamond's trial, Bethany Ward, 25, told the court that her cousin stumbled and pushed Diamond's girlfriend, Amanda Schutz, starting the fight.
Ms Ward said she did not see Diamond pull the knife, but that she heard a shouted warning that the actor was holding one.
Diamond has pleaded not guilty to a felony count of recklessly endangering public safety.
