POLICE have revealed the contents of a sinister 'kill kit' located in the car of a suspected serial killer.

Neal Falls (45), from Springfield, Oregon, was killed on July 18 in an apartment in Charleston belonging to a woman he met on a website.

The escort, who has asked not to be identified, told detectives she shot Falls as he attempted to strangle her. He had a gun with him, but put the weapon aside as he tried to kill her. She managed to grab the gun as he was strangling her and shot him dead.

Police now believe the man may have murdered over ten people.

Police have now released images of some of the gruesome items found in Falls' car.

The included handcuffs, knives, axes, a sledgehammer, shovels, bleach and other cleaning supplies, NBC News has reported.

It was also reported that a list of names was found in the same vehicle.

“It’s likely that Mr. Falls is a serial killer,” Steve Cooper, the Charleston police department’s chief of detectives, told CBS.

“I believe she saved lives by shooting Mr. Falls, based on what he did to her and based on the items found in his car.”

He spent eight years living in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas in the state of Nevada.

While he resided there, four prostitutes went missing and three were later found dismembered.

police are now re-examining the cases to probe Falls' potential involvement.
