President Obama’s campaigner David Axelrod has moustache shaved off on TV for charity
CAMPAIGNER to Barack Obama, David Axelrod, has had his moustache shaved off on national TV to settle a bet and raise €1m for epilepsy researcy.
He fulfilled the bet with MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough – and was left with a small cut on his lip.
"Are your friends at the White House watching David?" Scarborough asked.
"Yeah,” he replied laughing.
The bet was made in October.
He agreed to have his signature moustache shaved off if President Obama did not win Minnesota, Michigan and Pennsylvania in the recent presidential elections.
In return, Scarborough was supposed to grow a moustache if Obama won either Florida or North Carolina.
In the end he won Florida as well as all three northern states.
