Police on the tiny Caribbean island of Bonaire said two pieces of luggage from a missing plane carrying the chief executive of Italian fashion house Missoni had washed up on a local beach.
A police spokesman in Curacao, said two bags found earlier this week on a rocky beach were from the missing plane carrying Vittorio Missoni, his wife and four others.
He gave no other details, but Missoni family friend Claudio Verna said in Italy authorities in Bonaire phoned him to tell him that two bags were found that belonged to Mr Missoni.
The BN-2 Islander plane vanished shortly after take-off on January 4 from Los Roques, a tiny archipelago, on its way to Caracas.
