A devoted boyfriend has offered a free six-month trip to the Caribbean to someone who can help take care of his bed-bound girlfriend.
Jeremie Tronet (29) is offering flights, accommodation, food and even kite-surfing lessons to a person who can help his girlfriend with rehabilitating her leg.
His girlfriend, Zoe Schaffer-Jennett (27), fell three metres down a concrete ditch and fractured her femur and hip.
After surgery she is unable to walk and needs five or six months of rehabilitation.
However the couple from Union Island in the Grenadines don’t have health insurance and can’t afford to send her to a specialised physiotherapy centre.
The rehabilitation centre would also mean that Zoe would have to be away from home for five to six months.
Jeremie posted on his Facebook page that he will even pay for a plus one in order to find the perfect person to look after his girlfriend in the comfort of her own home.
The couple are appealing for a physical therapist, orthopaedic surgeon or someone who works in a rehabilitation centre to help them.
