'Jobs' fruit diet leaves Kutcher in poor health
ASHTON Kutcher, who plays Steve Jobs in the biopic 'jOBS', has suffered from health problems after undertaking a fruit-only diet to prepare for the role.
Kutcher, pictured, has revealed that he was taken to hospital after following the fruitarian diet.
"I went to the hospital two days before we started shooting the movie. I was doubled over in pain," he said.
"My pancreas levels were completely out of whack. It was really terrifying."
Kutcher's diet consisted of fruit, nuts and seeds, which the film claims Jobs also adhered to. The Apple co-founder died of pancreatic cancer in 2011.
The film examines the life of Jobs during the early days of his company.
