Lawyers for Aisling McCarthy will argue for her provisional release at a bail hearing in Middlesex Superior Court, Massachusetts, today.

McCarthy's trial has been postponed indefinitely as the state Medical Examiner's Office reviews a finding that Rehma Sabir died of traumatic head injuries.

McCarthy, who was living illegally in the US and taking care of the baby in the family's Cambridge home, has pleaded not guilty.
