A prison inmate who has filed more than 3,800 lawsuits from his cell is being sued himself by the US government over what it calls frivolous litigation.
Jonathan Lee Riches (33) fires off four legal petitions a day to courts from the state of Kentucky. His targets have included George W Bush, Steve Jobs and Britney Spears.
In some of his more bizarre petitions, he tried to launch cases against Plato and Adolf Hitler. He even filed a lawsuit against the Guinness Book of Records, to prevent him being called the most litigious man in America. The US Attorney's Office has now filed its own lawsuit asking for Riches's outgoing jail correspondence to be screened. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
