The man who killed pop singer Christina Grimmie reportedly told his co-workers that he would someday marry his victim.
New details have emerged about Kevin Loibl (27), who shot the 22-year-old while she was signing autographs for fans after a performance in Orlando, Florida last week before killing himself.
A number of people who worked with Loibl at Best Buy told TMZ he was “infatuated” with the 22-year-old and vowed to marry her.
Some co-workers also claim he turned vegan and drastically changed his appearance by undergoing hair transplants and laser eye surgery in an attempt to impress her.
They teased him in response, saying it was just a fantasy and that the former Voice contestant was dating her producer, although the couple never went public about their relationship.
Loibl told his co-workers he had played online games with her in the months before he killed her, although Orlando police have found no connection between the two prior to her death.
