FORMER football star Ronaldo has split from the wife who agreed to give him a second chance after he was caught in a motel with three transvestites.
The former Real Madrid and Inter Milan striker confirmed in a statement he and lawyer Bia Anthony had decided to end seven years of marriage.
The couple, who have two children, split briefly in 2008 when the Brazilian was involved in an altercation with three cross-dressing prostitutes in Rio de Janeiro.
The three-times FIFA World Player of the Year later apologised in a humiliating TV interview but insisted he was heterosexual and thought the transvestites were women.
Bia, his girlfriend at the time, dumped him but agreed to a reconciliation and subsequent marriage.
