California coast divers have close encounter with hungry humpback whales

TWO divers off the coast of California came very close to tragedy when they came very close to being swallowed by feeding humpback whales.

One of the divers was dangerously near to the surging whales, with one of the whales mouths just missing him.

After some expletives, the watching group bursts into relieved laughter as the divers scramble to get back on the boat.

This video is the latest in a line of videos where people enjoying various sea sporting activities come close to mammals of the sea.

See below for a video of a kayaker that is followed by a Basking Shark.

The Basking Shark is a plankton eater and therefore not dangerous to humans, but being followed by any kind of shark is sure to be a nerve-wracking experience, especially if you are not aware of the different types of shark.
