Hillary Clinton's favourite president isn't her husband, she revealed last night.

Instead she told a televised town hall meeting that Abraham Lincoln, the Republican who led the United States during the civil war and issued the proclamation freeing American slaves, was her chosen president, overlooking Bill's contribution to the highest office in the land.

Mrs Clinton told the audience in Des Moines, Iowa that she was the most qualified of the three Democratic candidates, who include Bernie Saunders Martin O'Malley, a former Maryland governor, to be the United States' next president.
