2ft 8in star abused girlfriend
The former girlfriend of the 2ft 8in star has gone to court to ban Troyer from approaching her after she claimed he sent abusive messages.
Former beauty queen Yvette Monet, 25, alleges that Troyer, 40, sent her abusive and threatening emails and text messages after they split up.
A judge in LA temporarily banned Mr Troyer from coming within 100 yards of her home, work or vehicle after she told a court: "I'm afraid for my life".
Ms Monet explained that she split up from Mr Troyer several months ago, and that he bombarded her with messages referring to her as a "hooker".
The model also said he warned her she "better watch out" because he had friends with guns.
"I have moved on, [but] he keeps emailing me, calling me and texting me awful messages like 'I hope God is with you'... Calling me names like hooker," Monet wrote in a court declaration obtained by E! News.
"He will not stop. I've asked him more than 10 times to leave me alone... He said that he won't stop because he doesn't want me to see anyone else.
"Verne's friend is carrying guns and will do anything he says," she told the judge.
Mr Troyer's lawyer Ed McPherson said: "He's shocked and appalled to learn about the false and frivolous accusations that have been made by Ms Monet.
"It's beyond comprehension that a restraining order can be obtained with no notice to Mr Troyer and no opportunity to defend himself... We look forward to responding to these allegations in court."
The diminutive actor is best known for playing Mini Me in the smash hit Austin Powers films.
He recently starred alongside the late Heath Ledger in The Imaginarium Of Dr Parnassus – the last film Ledger made before he died in January 2008.
