Two Goal workers are missing in North Darfur in Africa.
The Irish Aid agency said it is working with the relevant authorities to locate two of its Sudanese aid workers who remain unaccounted for after an incident earlier this week close to Kutum town in North Darfur.
Three Goal workers and a Sudanese staff member working with another aid agency were abducted by an unknown group while travelling by car on Wednesday.
The driver of the vehicle was later released but three aid workers remain unaccounted for.
“All relevant authorities have been informed and are working with GOAL’s crisis management team and team in country to determine the next course of action,” said GOAL’s Chief Operations Officer, Jonathan Edgar.
