Couple found in car boot at seaside home
A British couple were found bludgeoned to death in a car boot after being attacked and robbed at their seaside home in South Africa.
The bodies of Christopher and Jennifer Early were discovered by police in their Volvo.
The couple, aged 69 and 62, were murdered last Thursday at the property in the coastal resort of Hibberdene, detectives believe.
Identity documents showed they came from Britain but were understood to have moved to South Africa in the 1980s.
A police spokesman for the KwaZulu-Natal Province said: "It would appear the couple were assaulted with a blunt object, but a post-mortem will be held to determine the cause of death."
The resort is around 60 miles south of Durban.
