14 hurt after gas explosion hits France apartments
An apparent accidental gas explosion has torn through an apartment building in France, injuring at least 14 people.
Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said rescuers pulled two seriously injured people from the collapsed building in the eastern city of Dijon and 12 others sustained light injuries.
He said firefighters were still searching the ruins of the building, near the train station, for other possible victims.
Dijon mayor Francois Rebsamen said on BFM and i-Tele television that witnesses described a strong smell of gas and described it as an apparent domestic accident. He said it was "not an attack."
