Stylist Darren Kennedy presenting across four major US networks all day today
Nevermind RTE and TV3, Darren Kennedy is aiming straight for the top of the international television game. The stylist and ITV presenter is making his US television debut presenting coverage of the build-up to St. Patrick's Day live from Stephen's Green for NBC, ABC, FOX and the CW network.
The talented tv presenter was handpicked for the role due to his bubbly and outgoing personality. Darren, who hails from Dublin, is more than well versed in the television world, having previously presented a fashion slot for ITV's This Morning and most recently, allowed RTE cameras to follow him in a documentary entitled Gay Daddy.
"Making my US tv debut today presenting live across the day on FOX, NBC, ABC & CW Network," he tweeted earlier. "Could pee myself with excitement," he jokingly added.
The combination of networks would reach more than 50 million viewers, meaning that Darren's profile is about to rise significantly. The Irish Independent style columnist also hosted the coveted Channel 5 gig of Holiday Heaven on Earth, alongside Emma Wilson. The show has now been sold to India, meaning his fanbase is about to grow hugely in 2013.
