Top Irish designer Don O'Neill, who counts Oprah among his fans, has sketched an extravagant dress for bride-to-be Kim Kardashian.
O'Neill sketched an intricate bridal design for Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West, believed to be taking place next year, and with her fiance Kanye West's love of high fashion, he may be in with a chance.
Just after the high profile couple announced their engagement, Don was at the ready.
"I chose this silhouette as it will flatter her amazing curves and fit like a second skin," he said.
"It has lavish attention to detail with its intricate Swarovski crystal, silver lined glass bead embroidery and miniature handmade silk flowers
"It's a confection of silk organza but on a simple and dramatic silhouette.
"The crystal and handmade silk organza flowers and petals create rich texture on the bodice flowing down to the dramatic mermaid skirt," he added in conversation with E! Online.
O'Neill, who hails from Ballyheigue, hit headlines earlier this year when he was chosen to dress Oprah Winfrey for the red carpet of her film, The Butler.
"Oh my God, I was so excited," O'Neill told the Irish Independent at the time.
"Oprah met us at the door with a huge smile, looking so glamorous in a coral jersey dress, having just come back from her morning interview on CBS."
He also designed the dress worn by Oprah when she received an honorary Oscar last year.
The star has favoured the Theia label and posed for the cover of her 'O' magazine last September in a gold sequin dress, also designed by O'Neill, who is the creative designer at Theia.
"I got to thank her finally, in person, for wearing my dress on the cover of her magazine and to the Oscars. She told me she loved that gown."
