Eve Hewson's name has been thrown into the Fifty Shades of Grey ring.
What would your dad say? The role of Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is becoming the most talked about for the last year. And now, Irish actress Eve Hewson's name has been thrown into the ring.
Author E.L. James has already revealed she'd like The Vampire Diaries Ian Somerhalder to take on Christian Grey, and now fans are saying that the 22-year-old Dubliner has the perfect mix of innocence and youth to play Anastasia to perfection.
Eve, who is in a long-term relationship with One Tree Hill's James Lafferty, has already shown off her acting chops in This Must Be The Place alongside Hollywood legends Sean Penn and Frances McDormand, and she recently attend the Oscars with her famous father Bono, so it's safe to say her star is most definitely on the rise.
While the role of Anastasia would be extremely racy, a far cry from Eve's wholesome image, it would undoubtedly be her biggest role to date. With a multitude of actresses up for the part including Emma Watson and Gilmore Girls' Alexis Bledel, movie bosses are keen to take their time with casting.
Eve has just wrapped filming the thriller Blood Ties, alongside Mila Kunis and Zoe Saldana, and she has also landed a lead role in a currently untitled flick alongside Seinfeld's Julia Louis Dreyfus and Toni Collette.
