The war of words between the singer and pop mogul continues

The reality tv song contest war just got a whole lot better. No, not between the contestants - but rather The Voice of Ireland versus The X Factor.

UK pop singer, who replaced Brian Kennedy as a judge on The Voice this year, was slammed by pop mogul Louis Walsh earlier this week, saying:  “I have never heard of her: they should have got Samantha Mumba," he added.

But Jamelia isn't going to take this one without a fight. The mum-of-two tweeted in response: "Wow. Why Lie Louis?? This coming from the man who kisses my arse every time he sees me?? What a P*ick."

And Louis' speech didn't end there. He said that Bressie is nothing more than a "pretty face". "Bressie, I mean, he's never sold a record. How can he judge anybody? If he's just there for his looks, he should be on Ireland's Next Top Model," he told The Herald.

The former Leinster rugby player has managed to secure some of the most talented contestants, but the rival judges are suggesting that it's his handsome looks that have made him most favourable.

The Voice, hosted by Kathryn Thomas, is currently leading the ratings on RTE One and is once again proving to be a runaway hit. Meanwhile, The X Factor will be hitting our screens later this year and is set to be revamped once again, with rumours circulating that show boss Simon Cowell is determined to bring back Cheryl Cole to the judging panel.
