IF you are worried about your female partner playing the field when she heads out for a night on the town, don’t be. She’s more likely already seeing the office stud.

The seed of disloyalty in wives and girlfriends is more likely to be sown in the workplace as 42pc of women maintain they first cheated with someone from their workplace.

According to a recent study from online dating site, Victoria Milan, a boss or co-worker is more likely to entice women to do the dirty as burning the midnight oil together can spark a romantic connection.

The company’s founder and CEO Sigurd Vedal, who created the social network for covert liaisons, says that the office is “an ideal place for a passionate affair” and “many well-known fantasies occur in an office”.

His assertion that everyone has “felt attracted to someone at work” is backed by another 28pc of women actually claiming that their work colleague made them want to stray from their partner in the first place.

Of the 3,256 cheating female respondents who took part in the study, 18pc said they would prefer having a tryst with a complete stranger or someone they’ve met online rather than a friend or neighbour.
