We have to admire Miss Piggy's determination to get her one true love, Kermit, down the aisle.
For as long as we can remember, she's been trying her hardest to tie that knot, but Kermy just won't budge. Finally, it looks like the precocious porky maybe about to get her big day in the upcoming film Muppets Most Wanted - and she'll do so in couture Vivienne Westwood, darling.
The British designer was commissioned to create a custom wedding gown for Miss Piggy for a wedding that, if it goes ahead this time, will finally see our two favourite Muppets joined in holy matrimony at none other than the Tower of London.
The Long Ivory Court wedding gown, with corset detailing and paillettes made from recycled plastic bottles, and accessorised with an ivory tulle veil is every bit as extravagant as the 'divine diva'.
"Vivienne Westwood is fabulous - just like moi," said Miss Piggy. "When I asked her to design this wedding dress for moi's new movie, Muppets Most Wanted, she was thrilled and I was thrilled. The only one a bit 'iffy' about it was the Frog."
Westwood didn't stop there though, she also created a couture Harris Tweed houndstooth check coat and matching beret worn in a scene set at Tower of London and a long silver hand-embroidered floral lace gown for a very special number in the film.
Miss Piggy's giving no hints on how likely the wedding is to actually go ahead though: "You'll have to see the movie to find out," she said.
Hopefully Westwood's gown will be bring better luck to this fashion-conscious fictional character than it did for Carrie Bradshaw...
