Victoria's Secret runway models announced...but where's Miranda, Cara and Jourdan?
Lingerie giant Victoria's Secret's 'Head Angel' Miranda Kerr is conspicuously absent from this year's extravagant fashion show.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is the most anticipated fashion extravaganza of the year, with the world's top supermodels vying for a spot on the runway, and the world's biggest music acts jumping for a chance to perform.
As this year's runway list has been announced, Miranda Kerr's name is conspicuously missing as she is said to be "focusing on motherhood" and taking a break from the Victoria's Secret catwalk this year.
While British models Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne are not official 'Angels', they did made their runway debut for the brand last year.
So far, the only confirmed models set to strut their stuff are Lily Aldridge, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Ellingson and Behati Prinsloo, who recently became engaged to Maroon 5's Adam Levine.
Erin Heatherton is another name missing from this year's line-up.
Miranda became the first Australian Angel in 2006 and quickly became the most famous ambassador in recent years.
Victoria's Secret is seen as the highlight in any supermodel's career with seven figure paychecks, exotic photoshoots and an international proflle, helping them transition from fashion's elite to mainstream celebrities.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Kerr had her wings clipped, but she later confirmed that she would be streamlining her Angel duties in order to focus on her family, comprising of son Flynn (2) and husband Orlando Bloom.
The show will air live on US screens on Tuesday, December 10, and is expected to air here on the E! Network later in the week.
