Champion athlete Lindsay Vonn had her first taste of model life at New York Fashion Week, but nothing is ever as glamorous as it sounds.

Reigning Olympic downhill champion, who is dating golfer Tiger Woods, took the runway for charity yesterday - in crutches.

With the Winter Olympics kicking off in Sochi, Vonn won't have the chance to defend her title due to injury, and instead, is remaining in New York for the biggest week of style.

Wearing a sleek Cynthia Rawley red dress, she beamed her way down the catwalk alongside other familiar faces including actress Bella Thorne and singer Kat Graham in their very own take on Carrie Bradshaw's iconic runway trip in Sex and the City for charity.

The celebrities teamed up for the 'Go Red for Women - The Heart Truth Dress' event to raise funds for the American Heart Association.
