Turns out that if a man dreamed up a perfect female face, it would look a little different from the one a woman might want.
Because while both men and women were captivated by the perfect gaze from Mila Kunis's green, feline-shaped eyes, according to a 1000 strong survey by escentual.com the female face of perfection throws up another gender divide.
If a man were to design the perfect female face she'd have Shakira's blonde hair and the Duchess of Cambridge's arched brunette brows. Meanwhile women on the other hand, think perfection lies beneath the dark super brow of Brit supermodel Cara Delevingne and within Freida Pinto's raven locks.
And that's only the colour scheme. By the time you get to the bone structure there's another gender gap, as women perfect a more dainty face (courtesy of Keira Knightley and her cheekbones; Blake Lively's nose and Natalie Portmans's forehead) than a man's strong vision made up of Angelina Jolie's chiselled cheekbones, Miranda Kerr's nose and Jennifer Aniston's forehead.
But it's Megan Fox who it on the chin for both men and women - her neat little square jaw winning the visage vote from both sexes.
While both sexes love a full lip, (men you can thank Angelina Jolie for those, and ladies, Scarlett Johansson) the two faces of perfection prove yet another divide between man and woman. And then there are the scientists who last year believed they had found the picture of perfection in chip shop worker Florence Colgate's symmetrical features.
The perfect face off is on.
