HER recent sun holiday and trip to the ski slopes have done the Duchess the power of good, as she looked tanned and relaxed at an official engagement today
Arriving an hour and a half late by helicopter due to the adverse fog in Grimsby, Kate smiled as flag-waving crowds chanted "We want Kate".
With her baby bump visible beneath her chocolate-coloured three-quarter length Hobbs coat, the Duchess began her visit at the North East Lincolnshire town's National Fishing Heritage Centre - her first of three engagements today.
Kate is carrying out her engagements without husband William who is busy working as an RAF search and Rescue pilot in Wales.
The couple returned at the weekend from the wedding of their polo-playing friend Mark Tomlinson to Olympic dressage gold medalist Laura Bechtolsheimer in Switzerland.
Prior to that the royal couple took a babymoon break in a €4.5m mansion in Mustique, where Kate was controversially photographed in her bikini on the beach.
Meanwhile it has been revealed that Kate bought a ‘Deirdre’ dress during a shopping trip last week.
A Twitter user revealed that she had spotted the Duchess of Cambridge shopping in Topshop's Oxford Street flagship store looking "Truly Beautiful" and sporting a "bouncy ponytail, with her trademark pearl earrings and casual black leggings" as she perused the rails.
The shop has revealed that she bought the dress from concession label Lovestruck, spending £37 (€42) on a non-maternity floral dress.
