Simon Cowell's "LA dream" is apparently over.
The music mogul has been living in Los Angeles and serving as a judge on The X Factor US.
However, the Brit has now put his home in the city up for sale and it could mean his heyday in the City of Angels is coming to an end.
"Simon loves the LA lifestyle and will still spend a lot of time there, but it's looking like he'll be spending more time in London and New York in the coming years," a source told British magazine Star.
"For now, at least, it looks like his LA dream could be over."
Simon is even rumoured to be considering moving back to his native England.
One of the reasons for the change in his living arrangements is his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman.
Sources claim the 54-year-old star is planning to buy an apartment near Lauren in Manhattan.
"Simon knows it makes sense to have a home in New York - it's where Lauren and her seven-year-old son are based," the insider continued.
"The commute from London to the Big Apple is much easier than the slog to LA. It means he can be there for Lauren and the baby and concentrate on UK work projects. He has Britain's Got Talent auditions at around the same time as the baby is due."
