Rihanna and Kate Moss strip down for an S&M shoot with V magazine
They are the bad girls of pop and fashion, so it seems only fitting that Kate Moss and Rihanna would strike up a friendship. But we didn't expect this friendship to turn to posing nude together. The publication has even issued a double cover, one with the supermodel naked and the other with Rihanna unclothed as the new pals took turns stripping off for the camera.
The famous pair first met in 2009 at the Met Gala, which Kate was hosting with designer Marc Jacobs. At the time, Moss asked Rihanna if she would pose with her daughter Lila Grace, and the ladies made an instant connection. But we're all thinking it...how did this shoot happen?
It seems the friends met again in February of last year at a Stella McCarney presentation when celebrity photographer Mario Testino asked Rihanna about photographing her, and Moss was in close proximity, so the trio decided to collaborate together.
‘Kate overheard us talking and she said, “I want to do it with you!," according to Rihanna. "Again, I was like, “Are you f***ing kidding me?”… I was dying on the inside. All my fantasies were coming true: Mario, V, Kate Moss."
