Paul Walker will reportedly be laid to rest this weekend.
The actor, 40, and his friend Roger Rodas, 38, tragically passed away in a car accident on November 30 after leaving a charity event in Valencia, California.
According to the New York Daily News, Paul’s family is planning his funeral at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.
"All of the funeral details are still being worked out," another source told E! News.
The website reports Paul’s friend and Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson is lending a helping hand with the arrangements. The actor is said to have met with Paul’s parents on December 1 to discuss how to best say goodbye to the beloved star.
Tyrese previously spoke out about his heartbreak following his friend’s death on Facebook.
“My heart is hurting badly but in this darkness you used me as a light with my brothers family tonight ….. Use me up father God I owe you,” he wrote.
Tyrese added another message on Tuesday, revealing he had spoken to Bishop TD Jakes about Paul. The star insisted that despite his grief, death had not “won”.
“Then I went online and came across this powerful word he spoke at a recent funeral and the word was ‘I know it feels like death has won,’” he posted.
“BISHOP TD JAKES: In moments like this, it feels - it feels like death has won. But the bible says that love is stronger than death … You look around and everybody you love and everybody you can count on and everybody you can trust seems to be slipping through your fingers. Don’t you dare think that death has won (sic).”
A family spokesperson has not yet confirmed when or where the arrangements will take place.
