How will momager Kris Kardashian manage this one?
Her son-in-law Lamar and potential son-in-law Kanye West are both in trouble with the law.
Kanye, who is the partner of Kim Kardashian, has been charged with battery and attempted grand theft for an alleged altercation with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport, a city official said on Friday.
The alleged altercation took place on July 19, Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said.
A video posted on celebrity news website TMZ of the incident shows the Grammy-winning rapper glaring at photographers as he leaves the airport. West confronts one of the photographers and appears to lunge at him.
Mateljan said that West, 36, also attempted to take equipment from the photographer.
Each misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of six months in prison.
West is scheduled to be arraigned in Los Angeles on October 10.
West has become a frequent target of paparazzi after striking up a romance last year with reality TV star Kim Kardashian. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named North West, in June.
Meanwhile Lamar Odom, the basketball star husband of Khloe Kardashian, has been charged with one count of DUI (Driving under the influence).
Lamar was arrested by police in Los Angeles on August 30 after officers said he was driving too slow on a freeway.
He was arrested after failing a sobriety test and refused to submit to a blood test while in custody.
Law enforcement sources have told TMZ they believe Lamar was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol.
He could be banned from driving for up to a year if found guilty.
He is due to be arraigned before court on September 27th.
Lamar and Khloe's four-year marriage has been rocked amid allegations that Lamar has drug addiction problems, particularly with crack cocaine. Sources close to the couple say Khloe has been doing all she can to help her husband but to to no avail.
