Irish model Hannah May turned down the lead female role for the 'Blurred Lines' video.
Her manager, Andrea Roche tweeted that model Hannah May turned down the leading role, which was instead given to Emily Ratajkowski, who spent most of her childhood in Bantry.
Ms Roche tweeted: "meet our model @Hannahmay__ she turned down @emrata lead part in #robinthicke blurred line video she is soo hot!"
Earlier in the year, Meath-native Ms May landed a role in her first movie, 'Witch Hollow' a supernatural horror which will be released later this year.
She has already modelled for Calvin Klein, Puma and Wrangler.
Ms May dodged controversy by saying no to 'Blurred Lines', as both the song and music video were heavily criticised for sexism.
